Sterling silver base 925, 24K Gold wire, natural freshwater rose pearls, hot cloisonné enamel, lever backs.

Description

Earrings inlaid with natural freshwater 9 mm rose pearls and decorated with gold wire pattern.

The base underneath the enamel layer is engraved which shows deep and transparency of enamel. Lever back ear wires has a safe lock and also made from Sterling Silver. Lever back ear wires has a safe lock and also made from Sterling Silver.

Process

Earrings covered with hot transparent enamel. Enamelling is an art of decoration metal surfaces to create colourful and amazing designs. It's a very old and laborious technique.
The pattern is made on a silver basis with thin 24K Gold wires which form the cloisons. Enamel powder mixed with water and lay on the silver basis into the made cloisonné  cells. The item is put into the kiln, where the enamel melts at 800°C temperature.  3-4 layers are needed to achieve colour depth. Lastly, jewellery is polished until its surface gets a glossy brilliant look.

❗ Every design is hand crafted so if it needs to repeat one of them, each one will look a little different from the next because of the process. Each artworks I stamping with my personal jeweler mark.
