Safety instruction
1. Listen to your body: As with all jewelry, if you notice any redness, itching, swelling, or discoloration on your skin where the silver or enamel touches, remove it immediately. This could indicate a reaction to the metal, or cleaning residues.
2. Be extra mindful during activities: Because enamel can be more delicate than plain silver, take off your silver and enamel jewelry before activities where it could be subjected to impacts, extreme temperature changes, or harsh chemicals. This includes:
- Sports and exercise: Impacts can chip or crack enamel, and sweat can still affect the silver components.
- Swimming (especially in chlorinated or salt water): These can tarnish silver and potentially dull or damage the enamel surface over time.
- Gardening or manual labor: These activities increase the risk of scratching or chipping the enamel.
3. Store it with care: Store your silver and enamel jewelry in a cool, dry place, ideally in separate, soft pouches or compartments within a jewelry box. This prevents scratching of both the silver and the enamel surfaces. Avoid stacking pieces directly on top of each other.
4. Handle delicate pieces gently: our jewelry can sometimes have intricate details or thin applications. Handle these pieces with extra care to avoid putting pressure on the enamel, which could lead to cracking or chipping.
5. Clean your jewelry with a special soft cloth which is always goes with each Nikoloz jewelry order. Avoid abrasive cleaners, brushes.
6. Consider allergies. Be mindful of potential allergies to metals in the silver components (like nickel). If you experience any irritation, discontinue wearing the jewelry.
7. Inspect regularly and carefully: Before wearing, check that clasps are secure and examine the enamel for any chips, cracks, or loose areas.
