Description

Ring made from 18K Gold and inlaid with 3,5 mm Greenish-Blue Sapphire. The base underneath the enamel layer is engraved which gives pieces even more loveliness and charm. Ring covered with hot transparent enamel. Enameling is an art of decoration metal surfaces to create colorful and amazing designs. It's a very old and laborious technique. 

Process

The ring made with Cloisonne and champlevé enamelling techniques. Champleve is technique in which cells are carved and filled with enamel. Cloisonne technique is when thin gold wires attached to base and the cells filled with enamel. Enamel powder mixed with water and lay on the silver basis into the made cloisonné  cells. The item is put into the kiln, where the enamel melts at 800°C temperature.  3-4 layers are needed to achieve colour depth. Lastly, jewellery is polished until its surface gets a glossy brilliant look.

❗ Every design is hand crafted so if it needs to repeat one of them, each one will look a little different from the next because of the process. Each artworks i stamping with my personal jeweler mark. Also a polishing cloth include as a gift!
